One of the more sought after communities are called Canterbury/Bankstown which lies just south west of Sydney’s Central Business District. The area is also host to the largest shopping complex and houses several suburbs including Ashfield, Bass Hill and Burwood.

The median property prices for houses, also referenced as Band 3, is $430,000 while a unit, or apartment/flat, also referenced as Band 2, will cost you around $270,000.
