Darwin's Parks and Gardens – relocation guide

After a long day of recreational activities, what could be better than a night filled with entertainment for the whole family? Darwin is known for an extensive array of parks and gardens and I would like to tell you about a couple of them so that you know what the names of the parks and gardens are. First you have the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens and then you have the East Point Reserve and the Casuarina Coastal Reserve not to mention the Charles Darwin National Park and the Knuckey Lagoons Conservation Reserve as well. Let’s not forget the Leanyer Recreation Park and the Nightcliff Foreshore. There is also the Bicentennial Park along with the Water Gardens that are located in Jingili.

Based on the moderate size that Darwin is, it has a very lively nightlife. Mitchell Street which is located in Darwin is lined with different nightclubs and takeaways as well as restaurants and dining fresco style. Basically, you could say that Mitchell Street is the entertainment hub in the city. There are endless dining options here as well that are Asian inspired tastes. Located here are also three smaller theatres as well as three cinema complexes and the Deckchair Cinema. In case you are interested in visiting the Deckchair Cinema, you should know that it is an open air cinema which is known to operate through the dry season which is from April to October.

At the Darwin festival as well as the Darwin Fringe Festival, music is celebrated. There is also a Bass in the Grass concert as well, that celebrates music. If you are interested in listening to the local bands or the visiting bands, you can check out the Darwin Entertainment Centre as well as the Brown’s Mart and the Vic Hotel. Once you have taken the time to have a night out on the town you will have completed just about an all around tour if you have participated in a day of recreation earlier. Moving to a new place isn’t a good idea if you never plan to get out and see the many wonders of the world.
